What is it?

In the sketch above, you can see a group of people, ideally about 20, standing in a line. Except for the first person in the line, who is the leader, everybody else will be blindfolded. For safety, there will also be two or three volunteers guiding and guarding the line from the sides to ensure everybody can move safely.
This is a conscious, meditative exercise, preferably silent or with minimal talking (only for safety purposes). The goal of the walk is to raise our awareness and connection with our senses, which are less activated when we depend on our eyes most of the time. It is also a compassionate act in which we will experience the way blind people perceive life. We will focus on the sounds, smells, and the feeling of steps, observing them deeply.
Another aspect of the exercise is about connecting with the group as we will exchange roles throughout the walk (leader, side guard, or blind). It is about trusting and taking care of one another.
Additionally, this walk serves as a passive, indirect way of demonstrating. It is not for or against anything specific. Rather, it is a demonstration of consciousness and an invitation to rethink reality.
participation is totally free and open for everybody 🙂
