“After doing this for a few years, when I look at it now, I see it as merely a continuation of cave paintings—driven by wonder and mystery. I play with forms and symbols, creating my own language to “communicate” both with the world and with myself.”

This illustration practice is my way of researching the inner landscape, weaving together elements of cultural heritage, subconscious imagery, and diverse forms, shapes, and creatures. The works oscillate between intricate geometric structures and minimal, childlike drawings, often intertwined with Arabic calligraphy and, at times, infused with a touch of strange humor.

Through this fusion, I break away from traditional frameworks to play freely, opening new spaces for inquiry and interpretation—exploring religious texts, proverbs, and poetry—while pushing the limits of imagination and expanding “the metaphorical space” into further horizons.
